Following the decision by the Village Hall Trust to continue for a further 12 months (taken at PC meeting on 8th January 2013) a meeting between the 'Friends of the Village Hall' and the Village Hall Trust took place on Wednesday 23rd January at Netherton Sports & Social Club. The meeting was tasked with beginning to draw up the activities and responsibilities to be undertaken by both parties.
Two more joint meetings have taken place on 7th & 21st February and work continues to agree the joint activities and responsibilities necessary to keep the Village Hall open and running efficiently.
Netherton Village Hall is located on Coxley View in Netherton and is available for community groups and individuals to use for a wide range of activities and events. Currently we have dance classes, Netherton Dog Club, Karate and Netherton Youth Crew using the facility but with recent repairs to the roof and security of the building we hope to encourage new users.
